Quick answer
Run wrestling practice intervals by setting work seconds, rest seconds and the number of rounds. The timer alternates work and rest automatically, labels the current round and phase, and finishes after the last work round without adding an extra rest block. Large controls support pause, reset and fullscreen where available. Settings can be copied or shared without an account. This is a visual interval timer; keep the device awake and the page open, and do not depend on an audible buzzer.
How do I build a wrestling drill interval?
Enter work seconds for each activity, rest seconds between rounds and the number of repeated rounds. The total session is work multiplied by rounds plus rest multiplied by one fewer than rounds. A six-round session therefore has six work blocks and five rest blocks. Zero rest is allowed for continuous transitions between rounds. The starting example is only a configurable schedule, not a training prescription. Choose timings appropriate to your coaching plan and athletes, then review the total before beginning the session.
What happens when work changes to rest?
The displayed phase switches automatically based on elapsed time. During a work block the clock shows remaining work; during rest it shows remaining rest. Round numbering advances when the next work block starts. Once the final work interval is complete, the result says Practice complete and stops. Pause freezes the session at its current point, while Start resumes from there. Reset restores round one. Changing work, rest or round settings also resets the session so a partly completed drill is not silently interpreted under a different schedule.
Can I use the timer around the mat?
Fullscreen enlarges the existing timer when the browser permits it, but its availability varies across mobile browsers. A large landscape display or connected screen can also show the page. The clock uses measured elapsed time, so periodic repaint delays do not intentionally stretch a round. A sleeping device can still disrupt the display; keep it awake and in view. This version does not promise background audio, a wake lock or an installed offline app. Share links reproduce the entered interval settings and start independently rather than synchronizing an active practice.
Frequently asked questions
Can I remove rest between rounds?
Yes. Set rest seconds to zero. Work rounds then follow consecutively, and the total is work duration multiplied by the number of rounds.
Does the final round include another rest period?
No. The session ends after the final work block. Rest appears only between rounds, which keeps the displayed total consistent with the actual interval sequence.
Is an audible buzzer included?
This version is a visual timer with phase labels and a time-expired message. Keep it visible and use a separate audible cue if your practice requires one. It does not claim background audio behavior.
