About

Built from the head table, not from a generic sports template

Smart Wrestler is wrestling tournament software for hosts, coaches, parents, and wrestlers. We run registration, weigh-ins, brackets, mat queues, live scoring, and family alerts as one system because that is how a Saturday actually fails when those jobs live in different tools.

Who writes this

Pages on this site are written by the Smart Wrestler team — the same people who design the scoring table, the mat queue, and the host wizard. We are not a media publisher summarizing other wrestling sites. When a guide says how a bye is placed, how a medical forfeit scores, or how a parent pass covers linked kids, it is describing behavior we shipped and use on events.

Product facts (fees, roles, formats, alerts) are checked against the running platform and the published pricing page. Competitor prices are quoted only from that vendor's public site, with the date of the quote on the comparison page.

How the product is made

Features start from a real tournament job: a volunteer who should not see refunds, a parent who cannot hear the PA, a director who cannot rest a wrestler by memory across eight mats. We score those jobs in the software first, then document them. That is why the Host Guide matches the screens a host actually clicks, and why the glossary uses the same abbreviations the live bracket prints.

We do not publish a separate page for every wording of the same question. If two search queries have the same job (run the event, follow a child, compare a vendor), they share one page with a clear answer at the top.

Why Smart Wrestler exists

Wrestling tournaments still stall on paper brackets, shared logins, and a bout board only the people standing in front of it can read. Families now watch from a phone. Volunteers rotate in for two hours. Smart Wrestler is the operations layer for that gym: one roster from registration through awards, role-limited staff screens, and mat calls that name the wrestler instead of shouting a mat number.

Hosts pay a capacity-based hosting fee on paid events. Families and coaches start on a free account. Optional premium alerts and analytics are listed on pricing — there is no required sales call to host a standard tournament.
